Chili’s Classic On The Rocks Margarita Recipe

Margaritas on the Rocks
Please note: 8 servings
Ingredients
* 2 cups sweet and sour mix
* 1 cup triple sec
* 1 1/2 cups gold tequila
* 1/3 cup brandy-based orange liqueur (such as Grand Marnier®)
* 2 limes, quartered

Directions
1. Salt the rims of 8 glasses. To do so, pour salt onto a small plate, rub the rims of the glasses with lime, and press them into the salt. Fill the glasses with ice.
2. In a blender, combine sweet and sour mix, triple sec, tequila and Grand Marnier. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses, squeeze a quarter lime into each glass, and serve.
Margaritas by the Pitcher (On the Rocks)
* 3 cups tequila, chilled
* 3/4 cup Cointreau or triple sec, chilled
* 2-1/2 cups fresh squeezed lime juice, chilled
* lime wedges
* salt
Mix together the tequila, triple sec and lime juice in a pitcher.
To serve, rub the rim of each glass with a cut lime wedge and dip the rim into salt to coat it thoroughly. Reserve the lime for garnish.
Fill glasses with ice cubes, and pour margarita mix over the ice. Garnish with lime wedges.
